Darwyn's
adjusting career began in the Vancouver office of
Wellington Insurance in 1986. He moved to Victoria
in 1988, joined Coast Claims Service later that
year, and is now company president, and senior partner.
Darwyn, who is a Certified Risk Manager and Fellow
Chartered Insurance Professional, adjusts all lines
of property and casualty claims, with an emphasis
on large property losses.

Allan
has been an adjuster with Coast Claims Service
since 1995 and is now the company's vice-president.
He holds a level three British Columbia adjusting
license and has held his CIP designation since
2001.
Allan
specializes in Marine damage surveys for commercial
and pleasure craft, wharves, floats and boat sheds,
as well as property and casualty for both commercial
and residential losses. He currently sits
as a board member for the Pacific region of the
Canadian Independent Adjusters Association.
Greg
has been an independent insurance adjuster since
1989. After working for 10 years in Vancouver, he
moved to Victoria to join Coast Claims and he is
now a partner in the firm.
Greg, who has a Financial Management Diploma from
BCIT and his CIP designation. handles all lines
of property and casualty losses.
Zena
entered the insurance industry in 1990 as a “road-runner”
for a Duncan agency, and within a few years worked
her way up to Personal Lines Manager at a large Victoria
brokerage. She has completed her CAIB, and is
nearly finished her CIP program as well. Besides
her husband and two children, her personal interests
include field hockey and travel.
In
2005, Zena brought her considerable experience and
expertise to Coast Claims, where she handles all
lines of general insurance claims.
Don,
who joined Coast Claims in 2007, has 19 years of
adjusting experience, including 17 years at Axa
Pacific Insurance. In addition to having completed
his Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional requirements
in both management and claims, he has recently received
his Certified Risk Management diploma.
His
experience includes a number of catastrophic loss
events over the past several years, and he is well-versed
in all areas of claim adjustment.
Gary
joined Coast Claims in February, 2008 and brings
over 15 years of claims experience to our Victoria
office. Gary's expertise lies in commercial
and personal liability, as well as general property.
His insurance background covers many years
of senior claims examining at ING Canada and recently
with the Government of British Columbia's Risk Management
division. He brings vast experience in mediation,
alternative dispute resolution and litigation management.
Gary's
education includes a BA from the University of Victoria
(1992) and his CIP (1995). He is currently
finishing up his last course to be a Certified Risk
Manager and is taking an on-line MBA through Robert
Kennedy College in Zurich, Switzerland.
